Staying committed

Luke 9:62 – And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Finding a reason to start is easy. Pressing forward to continue on the journey despite obstacles, challenges, and temptations is the difficult part. You have to guard your commitment because we are only allowed 24 hours every day. Spirituality is a large part of becoming the best version of yourself. This means making reading scripture and learning from your ancestors and not letting tempting pleasures distract you from focusing on what’s actually important for you. With capitalism decreasing our attention spans to that less of a goldfish on average, the war is a invisible one. The war is a war of spirituality, and awareness is key. As cliche as it sounds, knowledge is power and a constant struggle to seek the best mental paradigm is what is the meaning. As scripture says, begin your journey and never look back.

How to Read The Bible ( King James Bible )

This is the bible version I was raised to believe is the preserved Word of God

Most Christians have never completely read their Bible. I am one of these Christians. As with all goals, action steps should be planned and executed to realize the achievement of said goal. Reading the Bible requires an understanding of both emotional and logical faculties. I believe the Bible is a reference for Spiritual enlightenment and should be read more than once. With that said you could read it all the way through by simply reading 2-3 chapters a day. This is a time commitment of 15-30 minutes, the same time or less of an episode on netflix. Enrich your soul by giving this short amount of time. Plant seeds into becoming a better you.
